Hiroyuki Itoh has developed a sound language at the same time irritating and iridescent, and who with microtones has pulled the firm ground away, though brings the chords to an entirely unique luminosity. How the Arditti Quartet let the final sound in pianissimo shimmer, belonged to the most intense moments of the evening.
